Situated in the heart of the historical centre of the town, Paphos Town Hall, is ideal for both summer and winter civil ceremonies. It is conveniently located and close to most hotels.
The Ceremony Rooms
Paphos Town Hall ceremony room seats up to 12 guests with standing room for up to 30.
A second, unofficial ceremony room is available for larger wedding parties.
The Ceremony
A recorded rendition of the tradition marriage music, ‘Here Comes the Bride’ starts the Paphos Town Hall civil ceremony. This heralds the entry of the bride who is followed by the marriage officer.
The bridal couple is free to select a personal programme of music for both the entry of the bride and the exit of the newlyweds and guests.
There is no restriction on who can give the bride away. However, two witnesses, each over the age of 18, need to attend the ceremony. These two witnesses can be selected by the couple or, if necessary, by the Town Hall or Cheap Weddings Cyprus.
Ceremonies at Paphos Town Hall can take place between 8:30am and 2pm from Monday to Friday. During the high summer season, ceremonies can be conducted later in the afternoon on Thursdays only. Paphos Town Hall does not charge an extra fee for this.
This package includes:

- In-depth meeting at chosen venue with a Cheap Weddings Cyprus wedding planner to discuss and finalise all your wedding day procedures and plans.
- Pre-arranged meeting with wedding planner at local municipality to submit all necessary documentation.
- Attendance of your wedding planner on the day of your wedding ceremony.
- Completion and delivery of beautiful wedding album, video or DVD if purchased as an extra option.
The above package is €600.00.
Additional costs
Compulsory wedding licence is €282.00 in addition to the above, payable directly to the Municipality. Ceremonies take place between 9.30am to 1.30pm. During the week on Thursdays, ceremonies can take place from 9.30am to 5pm, except for the months of July and August.
