Peyia Town Hall is one of the most attractive spots in Paphos for a wedding ceremony. The village is located 20 minutes from Paphos in the hills and has exception views of the Mediterranean.
The wedding itself is held next to the old village spring in a pretty courtyard overhung with colourful bougainvillea.
The outdoor setting provides enough room for all your guests and family.
The Ceremony
The civil ceremony begins with a traditional CD rendition of ‘Here Comes the Bride’ for the entry of the bride. It is worth noting though that, the couple can choose whatever music selection that they want for this ceremony. The marriage officer joins the ceremony after the bride arrives.
The couple remains standing during the ceremony as it is quite short, lasting about 7-8 minutes.
It is the personal choice of the bride, who gives her away. Additionally, two witnesses, each over the age of 18, need to attend. The witnesses can be chosen by you, the couple. If you do not have any witnesses, two will be provided by the Town Hall and Ido Weddings.
Ceremonies at Peyia Town Hall can take place between 8:30am and 2pm from Monday to Friday.
This package includes:

- Bridal vehicle to and from the wedding venue
- Checks of all required documentation with the relevant authorities before arrival in Cyprus.
- Booking and confirming of the wedding date and time.
- In-depth meeting at chosen venue with a Cheap Weddings Cyprus wedding planner to discuss and finalise all your wedding day procedures and plans.
- Pre-arranged meeting with wedding planner at local municipality to submit all necessary documentation.
- Attendance of your wedding planner on the day of your wedding ceremony.
- Completion and delivery of beautiful wedding album, video or DVD if purchased as an extra option.
The above package is €600.00.
Additional costs
Compulsory wedding licence is €282.00 in addition to the above, payable directly to the Municipality. Ceremonies take place between 9.30am to 1.30pm. Ceremonies can take place in the afternoon between 2pm to 5pm with a private registrar for €170.86 in addition to the wedding licence fee (i.e. €452.86).
